Magnuson Hotel Sandy Lodge Newquay

We had two rooms, clean, spacious, comfortable rooms with a double and a single bed. The rooms were next door , was very easy for my child to go over to the “neighbours “. There was a mini fridge in the room which was lovely because was quite hot outside. Tesco extra 2 minutes walk and the beach was about 5-10 minutes. Helpful, efficient, friendly staff. I really enjoyed staying there.

The staff were brilliant, especially the night porters I met. Really friendly and helpful. All the staff I met were very nice.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Couldn’t do enough for you. As the weather was really bad on the morning that we left we asked if they could phone for a taxi. There were no taxis available at that time that the manager took us to the station and would not take any money and even took our cases into the station itself. Breakfast was very good as well. Would go there again

Very kind and supportive staff. My late arrival was welcomed, all the info explained clearly. Tea/coffee maker, water provided in the room. Receptionist Catia was fantastic. She explained how to find the best way to the bus station, printed out the directions map and helped to book a ticket to my next destination.

I have stayed at the Sandy Lodge 3 times now. Every time any staff you meet have smiles on their faces and are very polite, also very helpful. The rooms are of a good size and very clean. Unfortunately the bar did not open this time I stayed as had a few problem. Over all I would highly recommend this hotel. No thrills and spills. If you looking for that go pay through the nose and stay at the Hilton. I would like to thank all the staff at the Sandy Lodge for a lovely few days !!!
